Room cleanliness needs attention!!! Windows in disrepair, cobwebs present, which is quite off-putting. Noise from traffic can be disruptive, affecting rest and relaxation during your stay!!!

Breakfast options were plentiful, particularly the smoked salmon bagels, and the bed was quite comfortable. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. dinner service was slow, and some dishes arrived unsatisfactory, like the undercooked salmon. Staff were friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed at times, affecting overall service quality.

The dining experience leaves much to be desired. meals occasionally arrive lukewarm, lacking flavor, and certainly not living up to the prices on the menu. There were also notable cleanliness issues, such as lingering food on the floor and stained seating that felt off-putting during meals. On top of that, the service can be slow, particularly when you’re trying to get the attention of the bar for drinks or ordering food, which can dampen the overall experience.

Had a fantastic stay with my friends! We explored the beautiful South Downs and enjoyed walking along the stunning coastline. The breakfast was well-prepared, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great for easy access to Bournemouth. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a group getaway.

We enjoyed the spacious garden area, perfect for relaxing with a drink. The staff were friendly and attentive, really making an effort to ensure our stay went well. Our room had convenient access to the garden, adding a nice touch to our trip. Breakfast options were extensive, and the quality of food stood out. The only downside was a few service hiccups during peak times, especially with breakfast being a bit rushed. Some areas were slightly dated and could use freshening up, but the atmosphere remained inviting throughout our stay.

The food was quite good, especially the evening meal. the bass on risotto I had was cooked perfectly, just right and moist. Staff were helpful, it felt like they anticipated demand because they added extra help when it was busy, which really stood out.

I had a lovely stay, enjoying the spacious room with a patio door opening onto a huge garden where I could relax and appreciate nature. The nearby Avon Heath Country Park was perfect for my city strolls and adventure seeking.

Not the best experience

Checked in for a night but honestly didn't get the vibe I hoped for. Staff were trying hard, but it took ages for our food. Seemed like the kitchen was a bit out of sync. Dining area could use a clean-up too. On the plus side, the bar had a nice atmosphere. Might think twice before coming back.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free wifi, comfy rooms, and a great bar area. The staff were so kind to my elderly parents during our first stay. I'd recommend it for anyone visiting, and I'm coming back for a city break!
